Have you noticed the general tendency to focus on the symptoms of a problem rather than address the underlying cause? One good example of this approach is western medicine. The accepted modality is; if it hurts we have a drug for that. My mind works a little differently. If it hurts, I want to know why so I can eliminate the cause.
