For those of you in or who are thinking about being in the field of spiritual helping, let’s talk about false spiritual students.
Just like the existence of false spiritual teachers, there are false spiritual students. Both are very similar in their interests in selfishly manipulating situations to their advantage. Both are similar in that they know that this is not what the spiritual path is.
This is not a matter of ignorance.
This is a matter of willful intent.
It’s unfortunate that such people exist, and truly, it’s best to let them go.
Confused and lost spiritual students are to be expected. Spiritual teachers like me are here to help them get oriented to what the path is. But those who refuse to accept the truth and want to play out some agenda with the spiritual teacher are not reconcilable.
And it is not the teacher’s job to reconcile the unwilling. Everyone is free to do as they choose, and that includes deeply unconscious choices.
